Making this possible are off-road sport utility vehicles. Nissan is one such car maker that through its Patrol Super Safari like the Almera is assembled in the Philippines. It was only in 2015 that Nissan celebrated its second year anniversary in the Philippines, wherein the brand launched many new car to accompany its existing line-up of which Nissan Patrol Royal too was a part. The Patrol Royal is a bit expensive when compared to Patrol Super Safari and likewise is equipped a bigger engine and advanced features. As for Nissan Patrol Super Safari the car still has to catch up in the race of off-road SUV and in list of its compositors are included the likes of Mitsubishi Montero Sport and Toyota FJ Cruiser.

As for the wheelbase and ground clearance Patrol Super Safari compute 2970 mm and 210 mm receptively. The car carries many features that rightly suits its rugged appeal, like the angled strut chrome grill, big-smooth front bumper, overfenders and 18-inch alloy wheels. Also, on the sides are present body colored ORVM and door handles and Patrol graphic running on the entire car length. As for the color options, the car is only available in three choices- Polar White, Solarized Silver and Pearl Black.
Getting inside a Nissan is an overwhelming experience and this fact is not just restricted to its luxury sedan and tallies very well with its muscle prone SUV too. First thing that comes into notice when one enters inside Patrol Super Safari is its wood accents that cover major portion if the center console and tunnel. It goes very well with the beige interiors that wrap a major chunk of cabin space, including the steering wheel and seat. Talking specifically about the drivers arena, it now gets a new instrument panel that comes with colored speedometer. The steering wheel is four-spoked with wooden accents and audio controls. On the center tunnel is present five-speed automatic gearbox that is covered in chrome and wooden accents. The leather seats are comforting and provides great support to the occupants. Further, the car is equipped with automatic front and manual rear air-con system, maintaining adequate temperature inside.
Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous
Nissan Patrol Super Safari is a off-road SUV and so it's important to provide it with adequate safety features. The car is built on Nissan's exclusive zone body design that absorbs shocks very-well during the time of crash, keeping the occupants protected. The car is stuffed with dual SRS airbags that inflate instantly at the time of collision. One of Super Safari important braking feature is its load sensing valve that manages total load , thus optimizing brake pressure between front and rear disc brakes. Other safety features present are LED signal lamps, high mounted stop lamps, front fog lamps and ABS.
In all Nissan Patrol Super Safari gives a good off-roading experience and is equipped with an enhanced engine and ground clearance. But the car falls a short of safety aspects, also some can find it a little expensive.
