Nissan Philippines Inc. was incorporated on September 23, 2013 and is a joint venture formed by Nissan motor co ltd and long time partners Universal Motors Corporation (UMC) and Yulon Philippines Investment Co Ltd (Yulon). Patrol Royale is fitted with a DOHC V8 5.6 litre engine, that churns out a maximum power of 317 hp at 5200 rpm and a peak torque of 526 Nm at 3400 rpm and this power is transferred to all four wheels through its five speed automatic transmission gear box. This 5 door SUV sips 15.8 litres of fuel per 100 km which might be a bit hefty for your pockets. From stand still it can reach to 100 kmph in just 8.2 seconds, which is impressive.
Talking about the front end styling, an angled-strut front grille with signature logo placed at the center adds to its ruggedness and sophistication. It also possess impressive LED lamps and fog lamps at the front and on the side profile it has got chrome accents on door handles, window frames and side air intake vents which adds a classy touch. Regarding the dimensions, it is 5140 mm long, 1995 mm wide and 1940 mm tall with a wheelbase of 3075 mm. It comes employed with 20 inch alloy wheels with tires measuring 275/60/R20.
The cabin feels rich with numerous elements starting with fine textured leather front seats equipped with an 8 way power driver's seat with lumbar adjustment and 4 way controls. Apart from the traditional AC vents it also has curtain vents or upper vents that maintain a cool temperature even at the back side. Its power operated sunroof allows you to grab a breeze of fresh air as and when you like. The main console is designed with leather, wood panel and with some accents of chrome along with leather wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise control. Safety, braking and miscellaneous
This car has inculcated in itself many impressive features to give you a safer and smoother ride. While you take sharp turns or change lanes rapidly, its vehicle dynamic control (VDC) prevents the vehicle from sliding sideways. Its 6 airbag system which includes front passenger supplemental airbags, front seat mounted airbags and roof mounted curtain airbags may reduce the severity of injury in case of any accident occurring. At the front end it has ventilated disc brakes and on the rear end there is an option of drum or ventilated disc brakes. Apart from that, it also has some safety features like traction control system (TCS), active brake limited slip (ABLS) and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
