Stepping inside the sedan gives you a sense of luxury and comfort with its plush interior that accounts for the neatly placed controls, use of high-quality materials and soft-touch plastics. The cabin comes in black color tone while the silver accents across the dash and door panels give a pleasing touch to the car. Major highlights of the cabin are the integrated memory seats, smart trunk system, and supervision gauges. Plus, a large touchscreen infotainment is there, which serves as the basis for entertainment front as well as navigation.

Carrying the Fluidic 2.0 design language, the new Elantra has been designed to impress the world with its crafty looks and shows the brand’s direction to modernization. Talking about the front, it has a signature hexagonal grille, which is graced by a pair of sleek headlamps. While the peculiar fog lamps lower down the bumper gives it an uncommon look. The sloping roofline, shark fin antenna, and the character lines along its side profile further add shine to its exotic appeal. Whereas, the wrap-around tail lights, sleek lid spoiler, and refreshed bumper grants it an ideal ending.

    Engine & Fuel Consumption

Talking about the aspect which would fascinate the auto enthusiasts, power-packed engine under the hood. The brand has revealed about the three power mills that will drive the new Elantra namely 1.6-litre GDi, 1.6-litre eVGT diesel and 2.0-litre Atkinson. The latter and the biggest of all is capable of churning out a max power of 149 hp and a peak torque of 179 Nm, while the 1.6-litre GDi is good enough for 132 hp and 161 Nm of peak torque. The diesel trim can generate a max power of 136 hp alongside a peak torque of 300 Nm being mated to a 7-speed DCT system. While the gasoline engines get an option of either 6-speed manual or automatic transmission system. Fuel economy has been optimized by a low drag coefficient of 0.27 and an aerodynamic structure.

The automaker has been keen in implementing a wide range of safety equipment ensuring complete safety of the passengers during the drive. The sedan is made up of high tensile strength steel making sure the body structure remains intact causing minimum or zero injuries to the occupants in case of a mishap.
