The passenger minivan Chrysler Town and Country was launched in automobile market by Chrysler, the American giant in year 1989 and is currently found in its fifth generation. The car in its fifth facelift was unveiled at Detroit auto show in 2007 as a short wheelbase model. The car is also known by the name of Lancia Voyager, Grand Voyager and Chrysler Grand Voyager. The minivan was designed by Ralph Gilles on a transverse front engine layout as a front wheel drive and relies on Chrysler RT platform. The car is found very closely related with Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Grand Voyager and Volkswagen Routan.
