Chevrolet Suburban is one of the oldest running Chevrolet nameplate that was first seen making a debut back in 1933. Suburban is a full-size, extended sport utility vehicle that has been produced by Chevrolet, Holden and GMC. To be precise, the car has been around for eighty years now and has come up with more than twelve generations. The Suburban has a different appeal and body style than the current SUV's available in the market. Chevrolet Suburban is available in two trim levels- 5.3 6AT 4X2 LT and 5.3 6AT 4X4 LTZ. Both the trims are powered by the same 5.3L mill that generates a maximum power of 355 hp at 5600 rpm along with a peak torque of 516 Nm at 4100 rpm. The engine comes paired with Eco Tec3 that features Direct Injection, Variable Valve Timing, and Active Fuel Management functionalities. With all this features what is sure is Suburban unbeatable performance and great efficiency at all at the same time. The 2WD is a bit more powerful in terms of pick-up and can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds while the 4WD option can cover the same distance in 9.4 seconds. Both these trim, however, displays a top speed of 205 km/h.
As for fuel consumption, the car can run 100 km in 13.8L of gasoline, which is not at all bad. With a fuel tank capacity of 117L, the car can run 848 km when it is full, so long journeys without the need to fuel-up.
The Suburban displays exceptional dimensions and has a distinguished body style, making it look different in a large fleet of cars presently available in the market. Taking in numbers, the car displays a 5649 mm of length, 2009 mm of width and 1951 mm of height. The cabin area is way too spacious, all thanks to its 3302 mm of wheelbase that is not so common among SUV's. Its ground clearance measures 227 mm making it a flood resistance car (Filipinos it can be your next big thing). From the front, the car looks very angular with bold contour lines on the hood that is carried forward to its bold multi-layered grille. The car comes equipped with high-intensity discharge headlamps and fog lamps, both increasing road visibility by manifold. On to the side are present power retractable step assist with lighting (top variant), side skip plates, body colored side molding and prominent wheel arches with 17-inch alloys wheels. The rear end gets intermittent rear wipers with washers, window defogger, and high stop lamp.
The interior front is intelligently crafted with lots of comforts, tech, and entertainment. The trims offer different seating configuration, the base trim has a 2+3+3 arrangement, where else the top trim can seat seven occupants (2+2+3). The dashboard is a mix of chrome and wooden finish both giving the console a rich look and feel. Suburban has four-spoke multi-functional leather wrapped steering wheel that goes well with the jet black(2WD) and cocoa dune and heat &cold (4WD) interior leather color. The two wheel drive comes with a 10-way driver and 6-way cushions adjustment seat with 2-way power lumbar and heat function. On the other hand, the 4WD option comes with 12-way driver and 6-way cushion seat with 4-way lumbar support, with both heat and cold function. The car comes equipped with Chevrolet MyLink system that features AM/FM stereo with CD player, 5 USB port, 1 SD card reader, AUX-in, and Bluetooth, also, you get four sets of headphones.

Chevrolet Suburban carries a whole bulk of safety features that include front and side airbags for driver and passenger, side-impact for all rows and driver inboard seat mounted side impact and head cushion. Chevrolet Suburban is an expensive vehicle to buy that has a well-functional cabin and excellent drivetrain engine. The only disadvantage is its size that will only worsen your traffic experience.
