Chery QQ3 Review
Established in 1997 by the Government of China, the Chery automobile manufacturing company is headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui province which sales passenger cars under Chery marque and commercial vehicle under Karry brand. In 2012, it made the joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover and became China's tenth largest automotive company. Since 2003, it has been producing the city car which was renamed as Chery QQ3 when it launched their super-mini QQ6. In Philippines Chery has been one of the pioneering brand where the QQ3 continued the legacy deserved by Chery.
Engine, Mileage and Variants
The urban vehicle manufactured by Chinese automaker uses the 1.2-liter engine which is capable of delivering the maximum power output of 69 hp with the peak torque of 93 Nm between 3500 to 4500 rpm. The engine takes the front driver orientation and vehicle has very good power outage to cater for all driving needs within urban circle. The engine is mated with manual transmission as standard and effortless achieves the speed of 135 kmph while tries to cover the speed of 100 kmph within 18.5 secs. The engine shows the impressive performance with allowing to ride about 4.2 km with the consumption of one litre of fuel.
Radically, Chery is built for zippy commuting around town where the award winning hatch back is perfect and fits into any parking bay. The ideal car with the stylish looks is available in impressive shades which makes the flamboyant personality. In front the integrated crystal headlights and U shaped streamline hood composes the smiling face and bestows it with quite attractive styling cues. The small criss cross grille and blade shaped large air intakes gives the vivid presence while roof rack adds the aesthetic appeal with the adding an extra edge of sportiness. The rounded structure of car looks quite cute which is embossed in its each components such as wing mirrors. The rear spoiler at the rump enhances the aerodynamic persona while the rear egg shape tail lights possess the arc shape design. The 5 door hatchback gets the dimension of 3550 x 1495 x 1485 mm (L X W X H) while the wheelbase lies at 2340 mm.

Safety, Brakes and Miscellaneous
The cage type body of the car is unitary constructed with close type steel structure where the anti collision bar intensity reaches 1000-1200 Mpa while the all four doors of the car adopts the strengthened steel and enhanced anti collision bars which effectively absorbs the impact energy and prevents the deformation of doors and injury to passenger in case of side collision. The front dual airbags are available as optional and which increases the passive safety of vehicle while crumple steering column is intended to crumple keeping the distance between driver and steering. The front disc braking system is equipped with the ABS and EBD technology which not only prevents the skid while also renders confidence in driving.
Chery QQ3 is not a bad offering considering its price while the transmission and suspension still need to be updated in accordance with other vehicle in this segment. The lack of advance equipment and high NVH levels can be felt easily.
